A series of 16 bronze frog statues are placed strategically through the Town of Blacksburg 和 the surrounding area to call attention to the fresh water under 和 around the streets 和 buildings downtown. 的 frog at the 莫斯艺术中心 is named for John Lyle Sr. 和小约翰·莱尔., a father 和 son duo who owned a school on this hill in the 1800s.
